1. Laboratory Environmental Testing
Drones must be evaluated in NABL-accredited environmental chambers to prove durability against outdoor operating elements:
- Ingress Protection (IP Rating): Water ingress spray tests and blowing dust exposure to certify minimum IP standards (e.g. IP53 or IP54 for agricultural/survey drones).
- Thermal Extremes: Operating tests under high temperature (+55°C) and cold soak (-10°C) cycles to verify that electronics and battery chemistries do not degrade.

2. Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMI/EMC)
